Renowned artist Ruby Jhunjhunwala conducted a clay workshop that included an introduction to ceramic art for the Social Initiatives team and members of our NGO partner, YOJAK. The workshop was attended by 13 participants, lasted three hours, and was held at Ruby Jhunjhunwala’s studio in Pune. Ruby introduced the experience of working with clay, beautifully connecting it to human life in a deeply spiritual way. She gently guided the participants into the medium, allowing them to explore and engage at their own pace.
The summer morning drifted by, with all of us completely immersed—our imaginations set free. For every participant, it was their first experience working with clay, one that will be etched in memory forever.
The creations from the session will soon adorn our Community Centre. We can’t wait to see them!
