Forbes Marshall’s CODEL DCEM6000 Certified at CSIR-NPL Facility

In line with the latest CPCB mandate requiring NPL certification for air pollution monitoring instruments in India, CSIR–National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi, has established an advanced testing and certification facility. Forbes Marshall’s CODEL DCEM6000 triboelectric dust monitor has been successfully tested at this facility, meeting all regulatory requirements and strengthening its readiness for deployment across the country.

The certification was awarded during the 80th Foundation Day celebrations of CSIR-NPL, where Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science and Technology and Minister of Earth Sciences, inaugurated the National Environmental Standard Laboratory and the National Primary Standard Facility for Solar Cell Calibration. The Environmental Standard Laboratory, only the second of its kind globally, is designed to test and certify air pollution monitoring equipment under Indian climatic conditions, enhancing environmental governance and reducing dependence on foreign certification.

The DCEM6000 certification was formally presented to Forbes Marshall during the event, marking an important step in supporting industries with compliant and reliable emissions monitoring solutions aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.
