Strengthening Industry – Academia Collaboration: Forbes Marshall Partners with VIT Pune

Forbes Marshall recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VIT University, Pune, at its Chakan facility. The agreement was formalised by Datta Kuvalekar and Bharat Agarwal, President of VIT University.

The partnership focuses on industry-relevant skill development, student internships, and professional training, while also encouraging collaborative projects and research involving faculty, students, and Forbes Marshall teams.

Currently, VIT students are engaged in 25 projects across departments such as Corporate Engineering, Electronics, RMS, Piston Valve Manufacturing, and MXN. These projects span areas including automation, AI/ML, Power BI, vision technology, and application development.

This collaboration aims to strengthen practical learning and create industry-ready engineers through real-world exposure and hands-on experience.
