Hot Potato, Cool Planet: Driving Sustainable Utilities for the Potato Snack Industry

Forbes Marshall, in collaboration with Forbes Vyncke and WaaS Asia, successfully hosted the Potato Snack Industry Customer Connect seminar in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, on 19 December 2025. The event brought together leading potato processors, OEMs, and technology partners for a focused dialogue on building sustainable, reliable, and efficient utility ecosystems for the industry. The seminar positioned a differentiated, value-driven model – offering an integrated view of steam, energy, and water management tailored specifically to the needs of potato processing operations.

The day began with opening insights from Shri D. M. Thaker, Member Secretary, Gujarat Pollution Control Board, who underscored the growing importance of clean and compliant utility systems in modern industry. His address set the tone for the discussions that followed, placing sustainability firmly at the centre of operational decision-making.

Water management, covering water optimisation, reuse, wastewater treatment, and circular water solutions were covered by WaaS Asia.
