At Forbes Marshall, we recently celebrated Beyond Business Week, a time for our members to connect with meaningful social causes. This edition featured iVolunteer and Deepastambha Charitable Trust, who inspired our members to step forward as volunteers. From engaging in insightful conversations to hands-on activities, our members explored unique opportunities to make a difference. Deepastambha introduced worksheets designed for Sumantra Psychological Counselling Centre, vital teaching aids for slow learners. Our members enthusiastically contributed to creating these resources, which will support Sumantra’s outreach centre in Pune. Many have also signed up for future initiatives with Deepastambha. Meanwhile, iVolunteer created a powerful multi-sensory experience to help members understand the daily challenges of visually impaired individuals. This opened up conversations on how simple gestures can create lasting impact. Celebrated thrice a year, Beyond Business Week continues to remind us that being a better citizen begins with small, conscious steps towards building a better society.
