The KROHNE BM26A-1000 Magnetic Level Indicator is a highly cost-effective, maintenance-free bypass chamber designed for continuous visual level monitoring in basic liquid applications without the need for electrical power. Its primary function is to indicate liquid levels in standard storage tanks utilising the proven principle of communicating vessels. The device relies on a hermetically sealed borosilicate glass tube containing rotating flaps, which are magnetically coupled to a 316L stainless steel or titanium float.
The rugged, zero-leakage construction of BM26A-1000 provides failsafe, highly visible local readings even during total power outages. Capable of withstanding absolute process limits of -1 to 40 barg pressure and -70°C to +200°C temperature, the KROHNE BM26A-1000 ensures unmatched reliability for basic liquids. It seamlessly pairs with the LT40 reed-chain transmitter to deliver 4-20 mA HART® 7 signals, empowering technical buyers with both local indication and remote process control.
