Losses due to improper design of steam and condensate system.
Objective
To design an optimum steam system and deliver a plant with benchmark Specific Fuel Consumption and Specific Steam Consumption.
Solution
For Steamer Section:
– Installation of Forbes Marshall recommended steam system for flash steam recovery at equipment level
– Optimisation of steam pressure in steamer
For Fryer Section:
– Process vapour heat recovery system

– Efficient use of flash steam at equipment level
– Proper conditioning and gelatinisation of dough in the steamer
– Zero-leak zero-discharge plant
– 35% Reduction in specific steam consumption due to no steam loss
