The KROHNE BM26A-8000 Magnetic Level Indicator is an ‘all-in-one’ solution that provides totally redundant level measurement by pairing a visual magnetic indicator with an independent guided radar or displacer transmitter. Its primary function is redundant measurement i.e. it combines two completely independent measuring technologies – a standard floating magnetic indicator and an advanced transmitter (like the OPTIFLEX guided radar or BW25 displacer) ensuring that the measurement results of one can cross-check the other. These two systems are physically integrated but do not influence each other.

Available in a BI-version (one chamber with two separated compartments) and a TWIN-version (two distinct connected bypass chambers), it handles extreme process conditions up to +400°C and 400 barg. Applications prioritising SIL compliance rely on the BM26A-8000 to deliver failsafe, continuous level and interface tracking, guaranteeing maximum plant safety in high-pressure oil and gas separators.
