Problem
– Condensate recovery through trap pressure and trap bypass valves partially open

– Live steam getting vented from feed water tank

– Water hammering in condensate line
Objective
Improvement in condensate recovery factor (CRF).
Solution
Installation of -

– IFLASHJET™ Pump for complete recovery of condensate, flash steam and motive steam at equipment level

– Forbes Marshall deaerator head
Benefits
– Additional heat recovery of 39,840 Kcal/hr

– Increase in feed water temperature by ~12°C

– No steam loss due to bypass valve opening

– No live steam venting from feed water tank

– ~2% savings in the annual fuel bill

– Water savings of 3300 m3/yr

– Reduced COemissions ~ 330 TPA
